Upper is goatskin on plywood (Kabora). The surface treatment was carried out according to typical Tuareg traditions.

Yattara is nationally known and sought after in Mali as a musician and artist. His metal and leather work is highly prized and reflects the rough life of the Tuareg in northern Mali.

This desk pad was already in use in Mali and therefore has a slight patina or signs of wear.
