Upper is goatskin on plywood (Kabora). The surface treatment was carried out according to typical Tuareg traditions.

Yattara is known and sought after as a musician and artist in Mali and beyond the borders of Mali. His metal and leather work is highly prized and reflects the rough life of the Tuareg in northern Mali.
