Leather chest treasure chest made by TUAREG artist Abdul Karim Yattara MALI.

Upper is goatskin on plywood (Kabora). The surface treatment was carried out according to typical Tuareg traditions. The chest was knocked out with red fabric.

The pictures are a bit darker than the real material.

The chest comes directly from the artist in Mali and was also used by him. Therefore, there are some signs of wear (inside and outside), which give the object its patina.
